Barnet Federation together with the Barnet Training Hub are delighted to announce the opportunity for a mid-career clinician in Primary Care working with NCL CCG and UCL Partners.
The role has been designed to support workforce retention in Primary Care and offer leadership opportunities to aspiring mid-career clinicians. This opportunity provides a chance to work alongside the CCG and UCL Partners to deliver proactive management of LTCs in post-Covid Primary Care.
The successful clinician will work alongside the Barnet LTC Clinical Lead, UCL Partners & the Barnet Training Hub to provide promotion and support to local GP practices and PCNs on the rollout of the LTC frameworks, starting with the BP@home workstream.
The initial time commitment will be to support a short-term project to rollout home BP monitors (lasting approx. 3-6 months). However further opportunities to continue this work may become available in the future.

About the UCL Partners Primary Care Support for Long Term Condition Management
Experienced GPs, practice nurses and other allied health professionals with a particular interest in asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, AF & lipid management are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
Post holders would provide local clinical leadership across NCL and at a borough level to support the adoption of proactive management frameworks for LTCs.
