The Handyperson Service undertakes small jobs and repairs both in and outside the home for a small charge. Our handyperson team are employed, trained, DBS checked and vetted by us. We provide a reliable and trustworthy service to the over 55s in our local communities to help them live safely and independently, trying to prevent the exploitation of older people by rogue traders.

The service has now expanded to areas within Enfield and Haringey and charges just £25 per hour to non-Barnet residents.  If you are aware of anyone who would benefit from the Handyperson Service please do ask them to give us a call on 020 8150 0963 or email handyperson@ageukbarnet.org.uk

Friends of Age UK Barnet

We’d love you to become our friend. We have set up a new community group, Friends of Age UK Barnet, who we can keep updated with news, fundraising ideas and future plans. The idea is that we bring together everyone currently involved with Age UK Barnet who can help us spread the word about the great work we do.

It’s through your involvement, support and input that we can grow and develop our activities and services and increase the positive impact we have on older people in Barnet.

“Join our community spirit and be part of something exciting,” says our Community Engagement Officer Wendy.
