Red whale training for Barnet nurses- REMINDER TO BOOK

Barnet Primary Care Training Hub is excited to announce that we have now commissioned an action packed, LIVE virtual interactive Practice Nurse Update from Red Whale (Lifelong Learning for Primary Care) on January 14th 2021 10-4pm.  This has been made possible with the funding provided for every nurse’s CPD funding from NHSE/I via Health Education England and carefully chosen topics have been decided after our local nursing focus group. Please contact Georgina Marsden (barnet.cepncpd@nhs.net) who will send you an access code.  You need to use the access code  to register a place via the Red Whale link on the attached flyer. Once delegates register for the course they will receive an automatic confirmation email. One week before the course they will be sent a pre-course email containing details on how to access the course, then a reminder email one day before the course. Delegates should keep an eye on their junk folder as these emails may accidently go to this folder instead of their inbox.

WITHOUT THIS ACCESS CODE and same email address you will not be able to access the training on the day. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE IN YOUR DIARIES NOW…..THURSDAY 14TH JANUARY 2021. You will also be able to access information about the day on our website Although the event will be recorded and the course materials sent to your home addresses you will benefit from being part of the larger LIVE group on the day.  We are so fortunate to have this opportunity and funding so please book as soon as possible to reserve your place. This training is now opened up to NCL nursing colleagues so please book ASAP to avoid disappointment

Dates for your diaries

PN Forum – 17 December 1- 3.30pm Click here to join the meeting  For this final forum of the year, we plan to celebrate the successes and capture some of your highlights so please come with some reflections to share with the group.

Nursing Whatsapp Group – ground rules

The reason for setting up this group was to keep us all connected, supported and be able to share ideas during a very challenging year.  It is great to see the level of engagement that is taking place and how responsive all are to each other’s needs for information or suggestions for working differently to meet patients’ needs.  We also need to be mindful of the way we communicate on this group – Please remain professional in your discussions and be respectful of other’s sensitivities.  Any “personal” chit chat should be taken off this group and conducted privately between individuals concerned  This way the group chat does not lose the important business amongst the many messages.  This is your space and please use it safely.

Finally may I wish a very Happy Chanukah to all who are celebrating. “If you light a lamp for others it will also brighten your path”
