Here is another edition.  I know many of you have been asking about occupational health support and I have made enquiries, will keep you posted as I get more information.  In the meantime, I have included some resources available.  Please do avail yourselves of this support.


Covid-19 CPR and anaphylaxis training

NHS Resolution – Clinical Negligence Scheme for General Practice

NHS Resolution colleagues have begun to engage with London Training Hubs and have shared information slide pack (see attached for information).

All providers of NHS primary medical services are covered under CNSGP, including out of hours providers. The scheme extends to all GPs and others working for general practice who are carrying out activities in connection with the delivery of primary medical services – including salaried GPs, locums, students and trainees, nurses, clinical pharmacists, agency workers and other practice staff.

Supporting BME communities in a targeted pandemic response

The Queen’s Nursing Institute

The QNI has published a survey – commissioned by NHS England – of nurses working in General Practice; it was carried out during the first wave of the pandemic in 2020. Please see this link for a summary and access to the full report here.

National Health & Wellbeing Support on a page – 1 to 1 coaching for Primary Care Staff

Please see attached national resources available to help staff look after their mental health and wellbeing during these difficult times. The support on offer features bespoke one to one and team coaching for all Primary Care Staff to access. (Please refer to enclosed People poster and slide with links on a page). HEE Resources boost for support with quitting smoking 

We are broadening and expanding our range of resources to help NHS staff help others to stop smoking. The latest guidance is contained within the newly updated Physical Health Competency Framework for mental health and learning disability settings. See link for further details.
