Hope you all had a good week and are looking forward to some rest and relaxation over the weekend.  It is great to have so many nurses joining in the Pan Barnet Learning events. If you have any particular learning needs or topic you would like covered, do please send in your thoughts and ideas for consideration.

Increasing Pre-Registration Nursing Placements in General Practice – need your help

Recent Figures from UCAS have shown that more than 60,000 people have applied to study nursing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each one of these nursing students needs a placement opportunity to encourage them to work in primary care in the future. How can you help? Please see attached flyer and start having conversations in your practice and offer your support  as nurse supervisors and assessors to help grow the nursing workforce in Barnet.

Talent Management Support Network -TMSN

Chief Nursing Officer’s Black Minority Ethnic Strategic Advisory Group’ has developed a leadership programme for Black Asian Minority Ethnic nurses. These programmes in the past have been available to secondary care nurses and now primary care nurses from London are encouraged to apply. Please see attached application form and flyer for further details.
